Packaging

Zimbeetle strives to package every specimen to the best of our ability. Manila kneelers are used with a cotton wool base, and cellophane wrapper to ensure the most robust and safe method of protection for your specimens. Packaging of the specimens is done by Jane Gomo and her brother Charles, aids orphans who have grown up on the farm.

The specimens are then packed (depending on the size of order) into either a double strength imported cardboard box for large orders, or into plastic tupperware type containers for smaller orders.

Shipping

We use Fedex for all shipments. Please do not ask for EMS as your prefered method of shipment. We have found, with hard experience, that EMS operating in Zimbabwe is grossly unreliable, and negligent with shipments. We appreciate Fedex is a more expensive means of shipping, but our prices reflect a much lower cost to the customer. As you are buying from the source the prices for specimens are cheaper than anywhere else.

Expect to pay between $35 and $40 for 0,5 kgs for Europe, North America and the Far East.
